was good to see him go, just stating that unfortunatly he kicked a few cruical goals that game in the 2nd quarter i recall which killed us in ONE particular game

fleming was ok
Fleming was far from ok. He was an out & out dud. So, he crashed a pack or two & was a bit of a nut when it came to getting the footy - pity he gave it straight back to them with his disposal. Best decision TW has made!

Fleming had a lot of heart and he worked his guts out, but he just had no skill. He was a suburban footballer who somehow made the big time. TW made the right call and I still remember all those supporters ringing up SEN asking why Fleming was given the flick.

Tough one"Carn the tiges"Only from the point of view mate, that,if we could get a mix of Flemings mongrel with Bowdens natural skill....that would be a real bonus for the club....easier said than done though.....but youre right,,,,the way tuckys turned out,it turned out to be the right call by T.W.....cheers!

Fleming may of been an ordinary player but atleast he had the mongrel in him!

Some of the average(knowledge) tiger footy supporters I Have spoken to all appreciated his antics on the feild.

Yeah I remember that too.  I nearly drove off the road listening to supporters wanting to hang on to that hack.  I know he had a go & I appreciated him for that, but he was just no bloody good as a footballer.

Wise words zips and couldn't agree more with your sentiment.
Should have held on to him?????? I thought we might genuinely be moving forward as a club when Hurricane Wallace gave Flem the flick.

The idea of hanging onto duds like Fleming - just because they "had a go" is the reason why we have been such a *smile* side for years. Get talent first, then worry about grunt.
