Round 1 team v Gold Coast

Like the look of the squad, rewarded those who have played well over pre season without looking like rushing back under done players. Have to laugh at the positioning of players on the team sheet. No way will we line up with three bloody talls on the last line and a bunch of pygmies across the half back line.
Flossy n Pet forward while Newy plays back, that's not how they've been training n playing all summer.

We thought Jack was the new lean centre half forward, but instead went for the beefier Conca
And to bookend it the new centre half back is the former skipper, who was our every man defender in the tough years, Chrissy Newman
WTF
Talk about just listing 22 players in the most inappropriate places, there is little respect for our opposition or own supporters here.
I am losing a bit of respect for the footy club, all injuries are "leg". It's a bit of smoke and mirrors.
I think the supporters deserve more than this, but I'm just one of 75,000 punters who are now club members so I'll be replaced in a flash. I wanted to feel some pride in the Tigers this year because they are genuinely going somewhere, after a lot of false starts. Let's try and retain some sense of perspective and treat the fans and footy public with some respect.

I'm not sure how putting out a team sheet is treating the fans with disrespect. Any fan worth his/her salt will be pretty certain where these players are gonna play.

And who knows, the players may start in these possies and move 4 seconds later.

Never really understood the point of releasing the team sheet with possies. A list of names (ins and outs) would do. The way footy is played nowadays, it'll be 18 players around the ball anyway.

Yep sack them all...

From the team that beat Essendin last week
: out knights banfield Elton Gordon
In: Foley

Knights must have had a niggle. Good to see Gordon & Lloydy are close to selection
No room for Kingy

Knights needs some more match fitness but he did look good in the 2nd half against the Bombers.

Gordon is fit as and if he dominates the VFL he won't be too far away.

C'mon Browny - settle!

Ok I am going to put it out there..

What happens if we haven't lost a game by the time big Ivan is fit?

Be a hard call coming for Hampson or griffiths.

best thing for the club would be for iVan to have to fight his way back into the team

actually i reckon its quite common for teams to line up with their 3 tall forwards deep, so there is a chance our 3 tall backs will be closer to the goal square than the centre square at the first bounce.
