Round 13 "Ross is in Vegas Games"

So happy to see the dogs beaten. Cannot stand them. Have no love for the show boating Hawks but less for the perennial western suburb battler bulldogs.
They are flaky

Their midfield last night was Bontempelli, Liberatore, Richards, Treloar, Kennedy and Sanders but for some reason they are unreliable. I actually tipped the Hawks last night because the Dogs inevitably fail when you think they aren't going to.

Just like the Dogs last night, (who failed) , Bogelaide have a "prove it" game tonight as well.

They've beaten St Kilda, Essendon, Norf, Giants, Carlton, Port, Eagles, Swans. Like the Dog's wins, not exactly against top quartile teams.

Tonight is a bit of a statement game for them as well.

Yeh, Montagna mentioned it after the game, that the dogs routinely do this over the past few years. Reliably unreliable. It's why they do not make Top 4 etc

Personally I think Bevo is just an average coach, they got lucky in 2016 with the ridiculous pre-finals bye and a gameplan that involved throwing it everywhere and often. Good luck that they got away with it but ultimately they are an underperformer in the main when the heat is on.

Spot on. The Cats game at home earlier this season was a pathetic display by the CRows, they jumped to a 4 goal lead and meekly surrendered it over the next 3 qtrs.

The Lions have won 14 of their last 16 road games. The odds are a little skewed here with the Crows at 1.52. Lions a decent bet with a start.

They are missing Darcy, Weightman and ugle-Hagen. That’s about it and the last two they aren’t getting back in 2025.

Darcy is a big out but he isn’t the difference.

I watched Sam Davidson closely last night and, well, I'm not feeling it.

There's something missing. He seems a beat off in everything he does.

Too many times Hawks ran past him. He's either not anticipating where opponents are going or he doesn't have the speed or will to go with them.

His opponent for most of the night, Connor Macdonald, was influential.

I have a feeling he'll be a decent frontrunner, but a liability in tough games that are won in the contest.

It's still early days for him, but I'm not counting this as a miss by our recruiters.

He was smashed by Morrison and moved to the forward line later in the game. He has some qualities but seems to be a little bit too outside for my liking. That was easily his worst game but is only averaging around 11 disposals in his last 6 games. Had a good start but teams are putting a bit more time into their research now that he's played a few.

Staging everywhere tonight.

Both teams.

Just a horrible look. Lucky it's not the interpretation of the week
