Yes they over used the handball, but they allowed West Coast to control it all.
Look at what we did, they had 312 disposals against us 144 handballs, Ratio of 1.17 kicks to handball. Bombers let them have 2.08 kicks to handball. Give them that many kicks and they will beat you every single time.
Yep, sure was dumb. Just shows the sensible approach we took with Grimes by taking him off even though it seemed like a minor injury...so it wouldn't get worse. Our medical and fitness guys are so good.
