Round 15 + Round 16 - the other games.......Zzzzzzzz

Shiel’s disposal is abysmal - running at 62% efficiency. Merrett not much better.
Has not improved one iota since he started at GWS. Bombers making the same mistakes tigers used to make many years ago...recruiting guys who can't use it well enough.

Brown banging on about our "boderline illegal tactics" v Nicnat again...
Which brings it to the umpires attention who will over correct decisions in tomorrow’s game.
Back to normal for our rucks - back to ruck lotto.

Woah! Nicnat, here comes Nicnat. How good is nicnat? BOG?

9 disposals (6 k, 3hb) , 1 Mark, 22 HO. 0 tackles.

He really schooled that 5th gamer Sam Draper who had 5 disposals (4K, 1hb), 0 marks, 17 HO, 4 tackles.
Oh *smile* me. I was joking but yep, sure enough the HUN and The Age have Nicnat as WCE second best player and had him in the votes

HUN votes
3: Shiel
2: Ryan
1: Natanui

what a joke.

Went from John Coleman to Todd Elton in the space of 5 days.

Copping a lot of flack for his fence sitting when WoodyWoodPecker was having a shot.?

Either he was tired.
Or he was giving his team mate a target to aim.

Perplexing.
He is a different cat. Missed two gettable goals.

Yes they over used the handball, but they allowed West Coast to control it all.

Look at what we did, they had 312 disposals against us 144 handballs, Ratio of 1.17 kicks to handball. Bombers let them have 2.08 kicks to handball. Give them that many kicks and they will beat you every single time.

Lucky we got rid of Rutten & Caracella the dumb arses.

Bloody frustrating as West Coast were ripe to be beat and the bombers butchered their chance to do us a favour.

Did the Bombers cheat like we did against Nic Nat?

You know, like tackling him and rucking against him.

Healy will go ape droppings if this was the case.

And it’s official, Essendon were brave last night:

Glenn McFarlane: “Essendons roller coaster season looks all but over after a BRAVE attempt to bring down West Coast fell short.”

Unfortunately he didn’t go on to explain why Essendon were brave and not just *smile*.

I can understand Norf overating their list because that’s what they’ve always done, however for Hawthorn to top up with so many players with massive flaws is surprising , maybe Clarko thought *smile* you Kennett I’ll leave this place the same as it was when I walked in, a mess

Did he somehow mention Collingwood have injuries in the article or is that still a secret

The Hawks used to say how did we lose to the Tigers when they were dominant and we were struggling..
The hawks were beating up on the opposition when everyone tried to emulate them by playing pretty keepings off footy. The Hawks were just better at it than everyone else.

During that time the tigers beat up on them with tough pressure football.

Now that everyone is trying to copy us, clarko and his pretty football can't keep up

poor old genius

That is his whole career. The most over-rated player I have ever seen. He is unique because most players like this are over-rated by supporters of the team he plays for but ignored by every one else. Naitanui is rated most highly by neutrals.

I can’t work it out. He goes missing for long periods when he plays, rarely does much other than bust out a few flashy moves and is regularly injured. He is ordinary overhead, lacks endurance and speed and has average skills.

The bombers just needed a contribution from Stringer/Hooker and they would have done us a huge favour. What's going on with Stringer's physical condition? And Hooker looks like he's running in quicksand.

The kid with real talent down there is Ridley - future AA star. That 2016 draft doesn't have many 1st or 2nd round duds.

I'm a fan of Nic nat. I think he has influence on games greater than purely possession numbers. Healy was crazy to talk of him in the same breath as Simon Madden though.

Lacks speed? Endurance maybe but not speed. But he's by and large a centre square operator.

He's not quite in the same bracket as Cyril (who had huge influence on games without the big numbers) but he does polarise like Cyril did.

Be interested to know where the PRE faithful rank him in terms of the current ruckman. I think I'd take him after Gawn/Grundy. Perhaps Marshall in front of him as well?
