Round 2 - the other matches

Rocca tears Hawks apart by kicking 8 goals, and 5 in the 3rd quarter. Clarkson has no idea what he is doing. Leaving Dawson on Rocca for so long cost them big time. It was obvious to everyone that he shouldve been moved earlier.

Collingwood win by 35 points after trailing by 16 points during the 3rd quarter. Great result, cant stand Hawthorn.

At the moment, the Eagles are ahead of the Crows.

The home ground advantage is taking a beating today.

Great match to watch - the eagles finish up winning by a couple of points. Good footy.

i was comparing us with collingwood today and i think we're pretty similar teams...

both have a couple of inconsistant forwards (richo/simmonds v rocca/tarrant
both have some old wise heads in defence (gas/chubba/bowden v wakelin/presti/clement
both have good ballwinners in the midfield, but are generally slow (johhno/cogs/tuck v buckley/licuria/burns)
both have much maligned receivers (tivendale v lonie)
both have good young up and coming kids (tambling/deleidio, etc v thomas/ t cloke, etc)
both lack depth and will be in trouble if they have injury problems

i guess the main difference is that me have a lot more kids...

The main difference I see is that Buckley/Licuria/Burns have more ballwinning power than Johnson/Coughlan/Tuck. Also Rocca/Tarrant present more of a worry to opposition defenders than Richo/Simmonds IMO.
The pies will be a hard side to beat this year.

Agree Flubby Tiger.

Our midfield is better than theirs, but their talls and KKPs are better than ours IMO.
