Shultz has had enough chances.

If anyone hardly passes to him and always goes to Richo what chances does he actually have?

What chances has Lids had, or Polak in the Collingwood game? Both have worked with Richo in the forward line and been productive, why can't Schulz?

Lids and Polak have there own positions, whereas Schulz & Richo have one position at FF (Richo should hand over to Schulz)

I haven't seen Polak do anything worthwhile in attack anyway.

He kicked the first two goals in the Scum game a few weeks ago which set us up for the win IMHO because those goals indicated that the Tiges were out to play and the Scum were caught short straight away. I consider that very worthwhile TF.

One quarter in one game doesn't have much value compared to doing it in a full game every week. Polak's strength is defence not attack.

Richo has been playing at CHF.

Agree, because someone said something then it has to happen.

Isnt that what we generally expect in life from people ? Or am I being overly expectant and should just consider that everyone (RFC personnell included) have no more substance/integrity than your average real estate agent ?

Dunno Redford. Maybe when someone says something thats what should happen regardless of the circumstances. Inflexibility all the way I say. Yes I think you're being over expectant. This is not about your mummy's promise to buy you a bike for Christmas.

My point is, when someone says that we expect to give someone a game by the end of the season, then surely you don't expect that HAS to happen. As I said, the ability to move with changed conditions and make appropriate decisions based on that is far more important than pleasing some PRE poster who is having a meltdown over an event not taking place.

PS Was very happy with my real estate agent. Ray White they're alright!

Polak has done more than Schulz in the games he has come down forward (which has been maybe 3 times). Has proven much more valuable than Schulz. Some predict Schulz will become a great player at another club. I predict the opposite. A good VFL player at the very best. Schulz will most likely still be at the Tigers next year in my opinion to see out his contract.

Maybe we ARE tanking.

If we were to play Raines on Nick tomorrow, everyone would scream "TANK TANK TANK!!!"

BUT, after playing him against Nick the first time we met, everyone now just goes "Wally the Sun God has been drinking the bong water again, Raines on Nick :hihi"

I tell you, Wally is showing the Carlton scum how to tank with class :cutelaugh

Agree with JB03. Getting promoted from Coburg would be like getting dropped anyway.

Agree, good post well said.

The company line has changed that many times this year it really is nothing new.

Baffle 'em with BS.

regardless of what wassaid or not wouldnt you expect it to be better to give casserly a taste of the big time instead of giving a borderline player like hyde another game.sheesh we are on the bottom of the ladder one would have thought it important to play as many kids as possible.

Re original post:

Thursty will give Rievoldt a sherlacking IF TW gives him the chance. IMO Thursfield's best game so far was on Rievoldt in last year's narrow loss. NR almost didn't touch the ball until thursty was injured, after which he kicked two crucial goals.
I still can't work out why TW didn't have that match up last time we played. It was as if the RFC was tanking in that game :-\

As for Gerhig. A tall lanky is the last option we want on him. Stocky and fast off two steps is what we need there. Suggest Raines or maybe Newman.

I am so unsure about this game. I dont know which way to go.

1) I'd love to smash the sainters and finish the season on a high.

BUT

2) I really really want Cotchin at number 2, And I'd vomit if I see him in a Carlton jumper. >:(

I don't know. Could argue the opportunity of playing finals footy of any description is more appropriate for the boy right now. Is one game in the ones going to make such a huge difference. May be just as positive to concentrate on a big pre-season and get ready for next year. Maybe they asked him what he'd prefer to do right now, who knows. I'm not disputing that its not good to give youngsters a go by the way and I'm just as eager to see how Casserley goes in the big time (I've had him sitting on the bench in my dream team all year). But we can't complain about lack of youngsters been given ago this year surely?

Maybe with his history of soft tissue injuries they decided to leave him at Coburg rather than risk him over doing it at the top level thinking he is too crucial too Coburgs chances and give him time to develop his frame in the preseason.

You could argue both ways, but what the point, he IS playing at Coburg.
