Melbourne should "accidentally" field 19 players in the last quarter, then ask the Carlton captain to call for a count. Whoever is the Carlton captain nowadays knowing that Melbourne's score would be annulled refuses to ask for a head count. So Melbourne "accidentally" play with 20 etc...

Carlton has just kicked it the wrong way and SEN almost mentioned tanking but stopped and referred to it as the "T" word. Have radio stations been ordered not to make comments on tanking or something?

I agree it is not a worry for us. 1vs2vs3vs.... in the draft can be such a lottery. It also takes the pressure off us getting 1 right over 2 if we had 1.
I don't think the Blues were clever at all - they made what they did too obvious. They grossly manipulated the system to take something they didn't deserve (a #1 priority pick). Half way through the season (after the Port game) these clowns were thinking finals was still on the cards.
