Melbourne 97 Adelaide 102   - Good effort by the Dees
Very much heartened by Melbourne's efforts - and I'm in a genuine belief that Melbourne were robbed a draw by a poor goal umpiring decision in the dying seconds.
I still think Melbourne are only one win behind schedule. I expected them to beat Carlton, but lose the next 3.

Dees lost it in the first quarter Interested by letting them kick 6 and letting Burton kick 4 of those. As for the goal umpiring decision - line ball and too hard to tell on TV. You would of had to of been on the goal line to make such a tough decision. But the dees did fight back well i must say.

What a tough slog by the Bulldogs.  This team doesn't know when to give in, they are absolutly strong and bold.  They lose Minson with a foot fracture (6-8 weeks) and morgan with a cruciate ligament (entire season), and still they bury the Dons with a lack of talls.

Crows managed 3 ridiculous goal in the first quarter, which bounced through after being kicked from 65.
TT - Your refering to the Bruce 'goal-that-was-not' - The goal umpire went to call it a goal but the boundry ump overruled (somehow). The video was inconclusive, but my bias says we were robbed.
The Davey one however, if you look at Henschel's body as he touched the ball, and where he lands, its not possible to suggest he touched it before the line.
In any case, the decision was made and Melbourne lost. Again.

Dogs won't lose a game at the Dome, and the Dons aren't all that good...

I think you might of meant someone else when mentioning that Bruce goal Interested (see Royce Hearts post), i was talking about the Davey one in particular mate. I can understand where you are coming from but honestly i would of thought you would have to be on that goal line to make such a tough decision mate.

Dont be too disheartened though, the crows have been playing some good football this year and although i did pick you guys in my tipping i think that the team will finish in the eight this year. Where that is, well that is up to you guys.

It's history now.

that was clearly not a goal. he had the ball in his hands and it touched the goal post. but in saying that, i'm not convinced the ball was touched on the goal line in the last minute

19 minutes into the 4th quarter, Freo 25 points up on Port. 2 quick goals to Port, and it's close again.

Dockers win by 25 points. Another upset (ie I didn't tip them >:( ).
