Rodan had a very good game, I don't know why we got rid of him. :stir

Dont worry GPB, he'll impress in his first year and then play like he did in his last few years for richmond (crap)

So, I won't be wrong, again, with my judgement. ;)

Judd+Kerr+Cox = 90possies and 3goals

...these guys are as good as it gets....next week is going to be very very ugly. I hope Wallace plays Deledio on Judd and Tambling on Kerr so at least we get something out of this game...cause those two should be doing everything to become the players Judd and Kerr are.

A couple of posters earlier in the weekend stated that it's forecast for rain next Saturday and we would have a better chance.

After seeing that first half against the Blues.....I think that idea went out the window. :-X

And they're missing Cousins, Fletcher, and Nicoski, as well.

Can't work out what's happened to Melbourne.

In-house problems during pre-season ?

Injuries to key players like neitz, McClean and robbo has hurt the dees but like us and some other teams key players can really hurt a team with no real depth.

I mean before the season started.

I sense one of those bad player/coach stinks that we copped several times in the last 20 odd years which lead to sacking.

Their supporters are tired of Daniher's 9 year reign.

Yeah heard them on call back.
Personally i think Daniher's time is up i think only finals will save him.

I'd be better off not entering my tips. I'm near the bottom in footytips, guess that's what happens when I continue to tip the Tiges every week. :(

Upsets every week, how many would have tipped the Kangas over Brisbane? Thought Geelong would beat the Hawks too.

I got the Hawks over Geelong, the Dawks always play well down in Tassie, but pretty crap otherwise, might let the kiss of death do my tipping from now on!

Nothing will save Daniher now, which is a shame because I think he's been great for the MFC...

Its not just injuries to main players, its 10 of Melbourne's top 22, which any club would find difficult to fix, regardless of depth.

If Melb finish bottom, they could very well get Judd.

He did support them as a kid, didn't he?

I believe so. Out of contract at years end unless he signs otherwise.

It would be an excellent coup, he already has a brownlow, premiership medallion and has also captained the club. What more could he want, to bring sucess to the club he went for as a kid...

Although, that hasn't quite worked for Kane Johsnson as yet, he is trying his guts out though.

I doubt Melbourne will finish bottom 4. They're a better team than the ladder suggests, and when they get the full team is on the park, they should knock off a few teams above them.

I'm not quite ready to shut up shop just yet.
Agree, not sure if they will make the 8 but reckon with their full list they will win quite a few games.

Agree, good post and well said - on the money as per usual.

Same could be said of us though....Cogs, Brown, Kingsley, etc.
Just shows you how good the Eagles are...losing Cousins, Fletcher, and Nicoski....and still crusing along.

As per the topic of other games for the weekend....hows the game down in Tassie showing the Foxtel coverage on the big screen, therefore allowing the players to know how much time was left in the final quarter.

Is this good for the game?
Should players know how much time is left, as per every other sport (basketball and soccer come to mind).....or should the suspense factor be kept (if there is any suspense anymore, with runners going out and telling players anyway).

The same couldn't really be said for either Richmond or West Coast I think... Only Cogs and Brown were around last season, and although they are massive losses, they don't equate to 10 of the first 22 missing. Obviously its hard to replace them, but its easier to replace 3 or 4 players than 10.

The same could be said for West Coast, although we all know their depth in the midfield is simply incredibly.
