Round 4-The other games

I'm surprised there haven't been more comments about Port Adelaide yesterday. It was good to see Hamish H doing so well. I like others hoped that he would drop to Richmond in the ND. Power played like I'd want Richmond to play: great marking, footskills, team play.

Port's efforts in 2009 clearly show that they were tanking in 2008.

They've since picked up Hamish Hartlett and now they're on their way!

Agreed.
Plus the club needed a complete cleanout and Headjob did at least put a broom through the place last season.
They also fully utilised the draft.
They were always going to struggle this year.

The Saints are traveling exceptionally well. Lyon's certainly got some of those underachievers switched on so far this year.

Don't get sucked in by the team that jumps out of the blocks first, they tend to run out of steam near the end.

But yes, they are playing very good footabll at the moment

I smiled as I was loking at their key players and where they came in the ND. Have a look at how Steven Salopek got to Port and see the mistakes that other teams make through trading draft picks. I was also surprised at how many of their top players arrived at port as top twenty draft picks.

Watching Eric Mackenzie is making me feel sick.

Agree. Another one that should have been on our hit list at the draft table.

And another one that Claw pushed. As time goes on, some people owe him a apology.
