Just finished watching a close finish between Kangas and Demons. I was really pleased to see Melbourne eventually win the game. Kangaroos went into that horrible "kick backwards" mode with 20 minutes remaining in the last quarter! Throughout the game I thought Melbourne consistently produced a far more dynamic "run and carry" style of play. In other words, the team with the more positive game plan ended up winning the game, which I found a very satisfying result (from the persepctive of someone who just enjoys watching a good game).

What on earth was coach Laidley doing taking his full forward off the ground in the vital last minutes of the game?
