I recall seeing that Port had been doing just that over recent years with kids from all over remote South Australia...remember seeing the kids from Oodnadatta getting their photo taken with the players.
Be fantastic if we could do something similar for the Dreamtime game...organise it as their school camp/trip and put on a great day for them. Wouldn't hurt to do similar things for all kids in remote areas as a part of membership drive if we could get some funding to help out with the cost...might be worth floating to the AFL.
last year there was a match beforehand between two teams from the NT (sorry names escape me), I would imagine be similar again.
Cheers mk, shame it's not televised on Fox.

No!!

Seems to me, if Richmond & Essendon want to play the Dreamtime event, Aboriginal players will be required. How does a game like this entertain the Aboriginal & Football community, if no Indeginous players are available?

Maybe you can make it an assignment Skills and work out how many potential indigenous boys could nominate in the next draft, surely either the Tigers or the Bummers might be interested in one.

We're lucky to be a part of this one.

If they want to make it Dreamtime, play the game in Arnhem Land;
As alternative for pre match entertainment, give two Abotiginal Teams the chance to play on the once sacred land (we now call the MCG);
Hand out history books to the general public and educate them about how much we dont know.

God no... that large aboriginal man singing with renee geyer was absolutely terrible.

I suggest you keep listening to the Back Street Boys.

You've lost the plot bro. This is our chance to play a blockbuster (have you forgotten the other 2 teams that play on Anzac Day), a chance for our club to be involved in splitting the gate takings, an opportunity for our sponsors to get their names advertised (not to mention future potential sponsors to come on board), experience for our players in front of big crowd, and you want to take the game to Arnhem Land to be played by two indeginous teams. :hihi
Its not just about the blockbuster opportunities, but hey it would be great to establish the Dreamtime as a blockbuster, its about leading the way in Indigenous and 'White' Australian relationships through the great things we learn about life from a tough sport like FOOTY.
The Dreamtime message is just as strong as the ANZAC message so a blockbuster would be a good way to pay our respects to all who went before us.
