Doesn't matter because of that St Kilda draw. Would have been beautiful had Saints got up.

He's the kind of coach that can keep GWS winless in the premiership stakes.

Stephen Silvagni is dominant.
Genki!

Yeah, it was very dull.graystar1 said:Dreadful game from what I saw until 1/4 time. Switched off, read a book instead.

On Fox they were talking about the knees to the back and a rabbit punch (whatever that is?).
I won't forget how he cleaned up Vlossy with his knee 3 of 4 times in the final last year.
Hawkins seems to have moved on from the jumper punch to the "p!ss weak knee in the back pretending it's in the marking contest" style actions.
Hope he gets a few weeks on the sidelines and fines.
Dyer'ere said:Who was out for the Giants?
Deledio. Ok. He's their bet player but he's pretty much never played for them.
Kelly can get it and use it. Big out.
Scully? All Aus wing class player.
Cameron? Good player. Coleman. AA.
Good call.
Toby Greene. All Aus HFF.
Zac Williams. Outstanding HBF with high BWA. Not far below the others for getting it. And his best use is incisive.
That is six big outs. It doesn't explain why GWS fielded ten VFA footballers tonight. No irony. But the injured sextet would make top six in most sides.
Rory Lobb was out tonight. But he's not as bad as the other outs are good. He's worth +five goals out.
The GWS backline was reasonably intact. But, to be fair, got no cover from the midfield. Phil Davis was terrified and uncoordinated. His mates were ok. Phil Davis is no good. He relies on three teammates screening him while he marks an errant ball that was heated by his usually diligient mids.
Phil Davis turned it up four times in the first quarter and then focussed on getting worse. He was successful.
Jonathan Patton was outmanned by Rhys Stanley. Are we done with this rumour?
Whitfield was useless. Coniglio reinvented meaninglessness of disposal.
The Giants had a road game. But the problems are in the bottom six to ten. Too many VFA players.
It was a road game with six very big outs. Geelong had outs? Meh. The lingering doubt about GWS is the talent of players like Patton, Whitfield, Lobb. And the abundant VFA class players. (Really VFA.) Reid, Lloyd, Corr, Shipley, Langdon, Buckley. Have I got ten yet? De Boer. Keeffe. Whitfield. Patton. Davis.
I've come around a bit on Cameron. I think he can think. In which case he can rethink this structure and player rating.
