Round 8. other games

Hogan isn't worth 500 let alone 1.5k.
Any club dumb enough to chase him and offer him 1.5 need to fold.
He is no buddy. His no Carey, his no Ablett. cameron is 10 times better then him.

Apparently his left handed but kicks right footed and that's where the awkward action comes from
I do everything right handed but kick with my left. My ball drop is fine and correct over the kicking leg.
I doubt they will be able to fix his at the age he is. That should have been smacked out of him as a junior. It's terrible to watch. Holds it over the left on the run up and then shifts it over the right at the last second.

You do. But he is going to put a lot of pressure on himself as he is playing an old team each week. When they do go backwards more the heat will be on.

Carlton's bottom four for games given to under 21s this year. There's a bit of Wallace '05 about their approach.

Happy to let them get a bit mouthy for the time being.

whose bottom? Kangas?

Getting jack of hearing about how wonderful the Essendon fans are for applauding the team off the park on the weekend even though they lost and how commentators haven't ever seen anything like that before. Clearly these muppets weren't at the 1995 prelim final at Waverley.

GWS look like serious contenders this year and will Probally start close to favourites in 2017, if they are in the GF would anyone be hoping they win or pretty much barrack for any team to beat them ?

What a choice. On the one hand we have a traditional club trying to win a flag to reward the faithful for their loyalty and on the other hand we have a bull dust, manufactured, entitled AFL love-child with their 100 first round draft picks, inflated salary cap, numerous AFL handouts and expectations of immediate Premierships.

Only a mother could love them!

GWS scare the *smile* out of me. With the list they have plus a pipeline of first rounders this year and likely to offload McCarthy, Patton etc for first rounders, they could win a lot of premierships over the next decade

Yes. Essendon top with 35 games, Richmond eql 4th with 31, Carlton 15th with 10, North last with 2.

In fairness to Carlton not too many real old timers due to retire like the Kangas.

Hopper just another off the production line. It's absolutely ridiculous.

Its a tough and confusing one though, Footy, and the Tigers, are ingrained in our culture. Part of that culture is being brought up to hate old enemies. And now we have this corporate side, culturally irrelevant in themselves, by culturally destructive in terms of their impact on us real barrackers. So it puts us in the bastard of a position. Barrack against an old enemy or the new corporate Frankenstein? Part of me hopes the GWS goes undefeated for the rest of the year and wins the flag by 100pts. Then the AFL might, might, start to possibly maybe begin to consider that maybe what created might possibly resemble a monster that not many people might like very much possibly. :P
