I think that in the last two games we have one both centre clearances and clearances from general stoppages.

As Brian Royal is our midfield coach - doesn't he deserve some kudos?

Wait to see how we go when playing against a real time Mr Chook... did you want to praise him after our efforts the week before?

So far this year we have won the clearances against:
Carlton (29 vs 27)
Collingwood (32 vs 24) - although I thought it was more
Freo (30 vs 27) - although it certainly felt like we won more than that.

However we were slaughtered in the clearances against Nth (20 vs 39)

source: http://www.pro-stats.com.au/ and HUN for the Freo game

I'd love to be player or a coach,one decent performance & you're a genius of einstein-like magnitude.
What about all the other matches when our midfield was made to look second-rate?
Congrats for those too,Choco

Well it's still the early season so nobody's getting carried away but yeah.

The worst midfield in the history of the game or at least of 2007 has cleaned up three sides this year at the stoppages.

Rucks have been good to outstanding at the stoppages a couple of times too. That's a big help.
