in the last few drafts it seems the drafting of ruckmen is taking lower and lower picks. it seems the rookie listing of ruckmen is becoming less common and the risking of lower picks on ruckmen is becoming acceptable.
i belive this has come about because come trade time ruckmen have big currency e.g. a ruckman picked up at pick 40 2 years later could easily be worth a pick 20 or higher. a flanker picked up at pick 40 is probaly still going to be pick 40.
