We need KPP in the back half, he is up for grabs. Why haven't we made a play for him? Another cheap deal that helps us an a area we are lacking. We don't need to do massive deals to help us. Freguson would be good for us.
 
Melbourne are sacrificing him to get a hard nut midfielder at the club. I doubt they would trade him for Tivva.
 
Melbourne recruiting manager has told Demonology that Ryan Ferguson will not be traded.

I guess Byron Pickett will be enough of a hard nut midfielder.

I think the AFL have brought in a new rule that said you could not have two of the same players on the same team unless they are twins,

Hence now that we have signed Ray Hall we cannot take the Ferg

I believe thats why we got rid on Holland and why Melbourne now have to toss up between him and the ferg...

Was surprised the dees were looking at trading him, some Melbourne supporters I know swear he will be better than Rivers eventually. He would've been a good get.

I don't think Melbourne were looking to trade him. I think, and Interested might know more than I do, but I think that they were approached by Hawthorn who saw Ferguson as a replacement for Hay. I can't imagine him being traded any time soon.

So much *smile* is talked about in trade week you don't know what to believe. Heard that dees were looking to trade him for sewell from hawthorn.
 
As I understand it, it was Hawthorn that approached Melbourne with the offer of Sewell for Fergy.
It was promptly turned down ;) !!!
