I'd take Ferguson's enough.pharace said:SCOOP said:We need KPP in the back half, he is up for grabs. Why haven't we made a play for him? Another cheap deal that helps us an a area we are lacking. We don't need to do massive deals to help us. Freguson would be good for us.
Too ungamely coming out of defence. He does OK, but is OK enough anymore?
No one was going to trade for Tivva... Unfortunately, he's not the type of player anyone really needs, especially in return for a young, courageous backman, who can go forward and has.TOT70 said:Melbourne are sacrificing him to get a hard nut midfielder at the club. Not a chance in hell.Bunnerz85 said:will melb delist him?

Hence now that we have signed Ray Hall we cannot take the Ferg
I believe thats why we got rid on Holland and why Melbourne now have to toss up between him and the ferg...

He was never going anywhere.fonda said:SCOOP said:Would have been a goood get. I think he is good and will get better.
Was surprised the dees were looking at trading him, some Melbourne supporters I know swear he will be better than Rivers eventually. He would've been a good get.

I don't think Melbourne were looking to trade him. I think, and Interested might know more than I do, but I think that they were approached by Hawthorn who saw Ferguson as a replacement for Hay. I can't imagine him being traded any time soon.
From what CAC has told the Melbourne site - that seems the most likely scenario. I'm 99% sure Melbourne never offered him up.QueenC said:As I understand it, it was Hawthorn that approached Melbourne with the offer of Sewell for Fergy.
It was promptly turned down!!!
