Sack Wallace Now and Play Kids

Very astute post. I watched Cuz closely on Sat, and nearly everyone of his possies deliveries were spot on, unlike many others. A premiership brownlow medallist doesnt come along every day. And you can tell - ice or no ice.
As for Campbell, my spies tell me that he was the leader of the upper elite who did not include the youngsters. Not a team man at all, so how would this qualify for coaching respect. In fact the word used about him rhymes with banker - do I need to add the W ??
For mine I would drop Schulz, Edwards, Rance (only because inj.) and if Moore is injured, replace with Thursfield. Bring in Patto, Cotch, Brown (and on notice that this might be his last year), Morton, Petifer (yes, at least he kicks goals and seems to have shown the professionalism to hang in). I agree that Vickery and Post need a bit more time but they should get a run this year - at least a couple of games each.
I would also like to see what Gourdis can offer before year end - have a sneaky suspicion that he has the skills to make it. Also, what about Sylvester - great at the burgers - has he matured and can he play a role (albeit seems slow).
Keep Nahas (spark) and Jon (make or break - what about full forward). The posters wanting to drop White are harsh - sure he makes silly mistakes, but he has the explosive pace to sometimes turn a game around.
Final comment - our run and carry game plan does not work - sideways, backwards, 10 handballs, then turn it over for a goal. I liked Northeys strategy of forward at all times at at all costs. I wish Northey was 20 years younger. Otherwise it has to be Hardwick (which would no doubt earn the nickname "viagra"?)

i enjoyed the post actually, and the nickname :hihi

If we sack Wallace now we are 0% chance of attracting an A grade coach for the next 10 years.

But in the end is going to make any difference anyway? I don't think so....

i have personally have been very hard on MM for what he did with 90 seconds to go on sunday, but if what wallace said in his post match spray on sunday is true, then it clearly makes his position untenable. and if it was true, i have no idea how the decision was made to keep him on.

some people will say what wallace said was based on emotion, a spur of the moment comment. to be honest i can be like at myself in my private life. but an AFL coach needs to be more sensible than that. he is the one who needs to hold it together. can you imagine paul roos saying such a thing? actually, can you imagine any other coach saying such a thing? he's got to go and he's got to go now.

FB: Newman Thursfield McGuane
HB: Polo Rance Moore
C: Cousins Foley Coughlan
HF: Morton Riewoldt Tambling
FF: Nahas Hughes Connors
R: Graham Cotchin Deledio
INT: Vickery Collins Jackson Edwards

Now that's a team I'd go and see every week, regardless of the result.

get rid of Jackson and youre pretty much spot on
