Saint Francis On SEN NOW

re creating the game where francis had blood streaming down his face....from memory it was at Arden St in 1980.

I heard on 3LO this morning that St Francis is the next Toyota ad to be released. I was dozing and can't remember what was said but I think they said one of the riskier or more dangerous things he did. Any guesses what it will be? I'll go for him running off with his broken leg.

Francis kindly answered some questions for PREnders a couple of years ago. Here's the link for those who haven't read what he had to say.

Edit...you beat me to it t80. ;D

Wish he was young enough to make a comeback. He was one tough dude....inspirational.

Imagine how he would tie the backline together!

It's in the Sun today. He is doing the broken leg thing, and the bloodied face moment. They sprayed him with tom. sauce for that one ;D

Part of the 10-11 panel.
KB mentioned Francis is on the next Toyota adds.
Who was missing today?

No one missing, just an interview, he needed 20 stitches to the eye socket, still kicked a goal with the skin flapped over his eye, than had to be taken to emergency to be stitched up. Very tuff man.

did he play the week after?

im glad many on here respect a player from the ol days.

Too many times the younger generation rant and rave about the latest superstar and how good he is and when the comparisons come out its the superstar that almost always wins, well let me tell you something young sprogs.

Bourke was my equivalent to Ray Price in Rugby League. Mr Perpetual he was called and for very good reason.

When was the last time we had a known hard nut as captain? Flea? Freezer? I know there will never be another Jack but how awesome would it be to have a leader who the opposition feared everytime he got near the ball :nodyes :fing32

those two clowns in those ads are hilarious, who is it again? Stephen Curry and someone else?

For those without Foxtel, Stephen Curry played the part of Graham Kennedy back in May and will be shown on Monday night (Channel Eddie).

The other clown is Dave Lawson.........................Jesaulenkooooooooo......YOU BEAUTYYYYYYY !!! :hihi

Bourkey represents one of our toughest players and that toughness personified what the Richmond culture was all about right throughout all our golden era's.

No second guessing, just hard and tough!

Im glad Toyota chose us for this ad.
