It is also a good awakening to all men aged about 45 or more to be regularly checked this desease is a killer if not caught in time . If you are having trouble peeing or if it takes you a long time to start peeing go and see your doctor it just takes a simple psa blood test. all the best Sam :clap :clap :clap

Apt username for a great post nackers.

Coming off a PURP....Prostate "rebore" only 2 weeks ago today, I have the utmost sympathy for Sammy. My operation, unpleasant as it is, is nothing compared to what he has had to undergo. I have just received the news that I do not have cancer, and having waited 10 days for the result is not the best 10 days of one's life.

I therefore have some emphathy with Sam, and wish him all the best for a full recovery.

Congrats GrayOne - good to hear you have many more mile in the system yet :)

The bloke is completely different off air. I met him and i have the upmost respect for the guy. I really wish him the best, this disease isnt a joke and its about time the community got behind the men that suffer from this. Its the male equal of breast cancer.

Sure he is a silly duffer and could reign in his ego sometimes, but all the best to the big bloke.

Anyone facing and fighting any form of cancer is a hero. We only need to look at young Tyler and how he has fought the disease. I am sure Sam will fight this and beat it and his experience is one for all of us. A close friend took "The Test" only because a fellow truckie was diagnosed...he was glad he did. He starts treatment next week and has a good prognosis...his was caught early.

I wonder sometimes about how we would feel about Sam had he come to Richmond when he wanted to. Would we have rated him in the same sentence as Hart, Bourke Bartlett et al?

Good luck Sam!
