Same Feeling

the saddest thing i saw tonight was as follows

I was lucky enough to be in the olympic room with two interstate guests for the presidents dinner. Halfway through the last quarter we went inside to watch the game on the screens provided and sink my sorrows with beer, lots of it. Anyway there were alot of football greats there, and as I was watching the most embarrassing rfc performance of my life ( and trust me thats saying something ) . A former team of the century member was infront of me with his back to me watching the same sccreen, with his arms on his hips, At one point during the last quarter he turned around and walked out, and he had tears in hs eyes.

How could such a proud and succesful club become such a basket case so quickley

Thanks Tubytiger.
But what the problem is now is it's my little boys 7th birthday tomorrow. l bought him a new tiger jumper.

He told me he's not coming to watch us against Geelong because they will "SMASH US"

All l said to him and the other 2 was footy is a funny game.. Which my older son said "Whats funny about getting thrashed all the time Dad"

I'm sorry your little one thinks like that mate. I didnt pick us tonight mate to tell you the truth but i still have trouble swallowing the crap that has gone on here tonight. I'm not you but i tell you what mate, i would dust your little ones off and tell them we are gunna give these guys one hell of a match. To tell you the truth, we will beat them up there. Yer, tell me im insane but ive just got this feeling mate. U wouldnt expect anything like that after tonights match but believe me we had alot of crap going into this match which which we will not have against them and they will win well gainst the hawks tomorrow night. Keep their faith and more importantly keep your faith as that rubs down the line.

We are better than we were tonight mate. Believe me.
