Was in the pub on Satuday and to my shock and horror the round three Richmond Collingwood game came on.

A couple of things from that game. Folley was good but he really did get better as the season progressed. He just keeps getting better.

*smile* - did not have a bad game - what went wrong with this player.

Gaspar - actually after watching this game have to say the decision to let him go was right.

Mcguane - looked lost in parts but boy he is another big improver.

Patto - must have only played about 10 minutes - but at times showed pace and agility for a big guy.

Richo - Played a great game but we would have won if he had kicked straight.

Raines and Polo- did look lost at times.

Lids- WTF was Wallace thinking playing him in the back line. SHHHHHHHEEEESH!

Bling - Copped some really hard hits that game - no wonder he tailed towards the end of the season, truely copped some punishment - once he learns to handle that he is a shoe in for my Dream Team..

Krak - played ok..

We missed Simmo...

schulz - did not have a bad game - what went wrong with this player. Lack of opportunity, you see regular 2nds players drop off in enthusiasm. Mind you, he still is a one trick pony.

Gaspar - actually after watching this game have to say the decision to let him go was right. Couldn't understand why he was mis-matched on Medhurst.

Mcguane - looked lost in parts but boy he is another big improver. Hopefully.

Patto - must have only played about 10 minutes - but at times showed pace and agility for a big guy. Yes, he will continue to improve.

Richo - Played a great game but we would have won if he had kicked straight. Isn't that usually the case. The RFC version of Brad Hodge.

Raines and Polo- did look lost at times. They both had forgettable seasons.

Lids- WTF was Wallace thinking playing him in the back line. SHHHHHHHEEEESH! Agree!

Bling - Copped some really hard hits that game - no wonder he tailed towards the end of the season, truely copped some punishment - once he learns to handle that he is a shoe in for my Dream Team.. He'll continue to improve.

Krak - played ok.. (MCG, though...)
We missed Simmo...

Gas just could not turn fast enough - playing on Medhurst was a shocker, I agree, but then against the saints I watched Raines on Reiwalt..

I think it was time for Gaspar and i was always a fan.

I would love to see *smile* just start to smash packs a bit, he is big enough..

? ? ?

Richo's played over 250 games at the highest level and kicked near enough to 750 goals. At the highest level, Hodge has had 9 bats and averages 25, if you don't include his one and only score. He also only averages 30 in the handfull of pyjama games he's played.

Not sure I see the similarities. Am I missing something?

Spot on Freezer, there is no comparison.............yet.

I'd like to see Sarj start smashin' a few packs too. He has shown the liking to do it before when no one else at the club at the time was willing to say boo. I also agree with Phanto in that he has lacked opp's.

I just have this feeling if he could get a run of games where he could have his own space in the forward line then he might just get the confidence in himself and from the selectors. Problem always seems to be that he cannot play in the same forward line as Richo. He disappointed me this year as he really dropped his bundle, maybe the kick in the rectum will give if him the hunger.

Agree Phantom but there's nothing wrong with a one trick pony, as long as the trick is what the people want to see. :hihi
