Schulz - a Power of Trouble

You may laugh but 3 weeks ago many here who are now singing his praises would've taken that in a heartbeat. Pleased to see Jay has grabbed his opportunity. I look forward to seeing what he's got in store for the Y&B next season.

There's a guy at work who claims Matthew Lappin will be traded for Schulz.  Thats his rumour from an unconfirmed source.

Nearly as funny as the Naish-Daffy for Neitz rumour many years ago...
this time of year is always amusing with the bizarre trade rumours people make up...
Dont you mean the Naish - Daffy for Schwarz ? Schwarz confirmed this rumour to be true and was told he was going to be a Richmond player only for Richmond to pull out of the deal at the last minute.

Its a that funny time and many rumours will come out

I remember the Tigers always used to be interested in the Ox (can't remember the Neitz rumour but I'm sure that happened too). I think we were chasing Shwarz when he was injured but melbourne wanted Campbell in return... glad that never happened!

In attack he doesnt get the ball enough.
In defence he is taken to the ball by his opponent
But he is only 20 1/2 so heaps of time to develop and he looked comfortable at CHB against the cats
Maybe a future forward but let him develop at CHB and then see what happens
I think he's a natural forward but if he can learn how to play CHB it will only improve his prospects for playing CHF (if that's where he ends up). At the beginning of sunday's game i thought he was wasted in defence, particularly when Moore wasn't doing anything up forward, but as the game wore on he saved many geelong forward movements and showed great poise coming out of defence with most of his kicks hitting their targets. I suspect that TW wants him to develop him into a KPP who can play at both ends - maybe like Leppitch.

The rumour or talk going around at the time was Camobo for the Ox, but it never eventuated as Campbo stayed a Tiger.
