ian at 189cm one would say antoni grover is to short to play regular fb or kp for freo but he does. at 97kg his weight to height ratio is more than most.his size enables him to compete.he may not get the job on the real tall forwards but he would take a fevola whos only 191 and weighs 100kg.a lot of it is horses for courses.
190cm is generally regarded as genuine tall at 193cm jacks height is not an issue. the issue will be his ability to put on some muscle.his cousin is 193cm and weighs 96kg if jack can get to around 95kg this would be great. hes 19 by 22 23 one would hope he gets there. if i remember correctly nick started at 85kg perhaps someone can confirm this nick is 26 hes had about 8 preseasons jack is 19 hes had 2.

I'm not one that has been saying Jack won't be a KPP. IMHO he has the potential to be a better KPP than Nick because he is a smarter player.

Just heard Jack being interviewed on abc about the community round- very impressive for a kid his age- sounds confident without coming across as arrogant and even managed to call the oval 'picturesque' which would seem to place him in the top decile for vocabulary amongst league players. It really looks like we're developing a very good list of good young smart players.

Just on height and key position playing you also have to take into account leap- from figures in the paper today nick has quite a leap and i'm not sure jack has- anyway he's a good kid
