I can't understand how the players yesterday didn't realise they were playing for their season and their Richmond immortal because I don't believe they are that bad (but the fact was they were).

It's because our game plan and the coaches style he wants his team to play is (a) easy for the opposition to breakdown and (b) not conducive to free scoring. we play the worst brand of football in the league.
 
At least we know our fate early this year.

Nice to have things wrapped up by May. Sometimes it drags on into June or July, even August a few times, and that is very frustrating.

Can now attend the games in total relaxation and watch the comedy unfold.
 
Just watched Cotchin and Chaplin on game day seems they are content with being mediocre
 
one has to feel for cotchin - a super talent ruined by being unfortunate enough to be drafted by us.

Ah geez, its true isn't it. And the worst bit is that the comedy will be without my favourite clown, Mcguane.
 
Stuff Richmond. The World Cup begins next month, I'm looking forward to seeing the Brazilian girls shaking their asses in the crowd!!!

I often feel that way for Lids as well. He gets up a nice head of steam during games only to find he is surrounded b y spanners.
 
Starting to get a Kevin Bloody Wilson ear worm of Kev's Lament (it was over) while reading this thread.
 
Is it too late to merge with Melbourne & be the Melbourne Tigers?
Play at the G and base is Punt Rd.
Roos to coach.

I'm thinking this is our only option to compete and allow my kids to support the Tigers.
For those not in favour pick a new club & start fresh

Pity the poor kids ranked in the top 3 in the draft this year. One of them is about to be sucked into a football vortex.

I just hope we don't *smile* this draft up. I would prefer we trade in picks instead of trading them away even if it's a 3rd rounder.
 
Bad kicking is bad football, players shouldn't drop sitters, yes we've heard all that before. And its true.

But I can tolerate mistakes.

What I can't tolerate is the lazy gutless insipid weak and cowardly performance I saw from the players and coach yesterday.

But it takes heart to run.
Run. Provide a target. Run. Create a lead. Run. Make space.

Run. Shut them down. Run. To create pressure. Run. Run run run run run


and we don't have any heart

I don't think cotchin is but chaplin certainly. to have this hack on our leadership team focused heavily on the website and given prime media gigs is a disgrace. He genuinely believes he's a superstar

Please take him off the leadership tell him to curtail the media and let him know he is on notice
 
Dimma said the players came back from the xmas break more fit and in better condition this year than any other season in his time here.

So what happend?
