Season Starts

Since 2006 the starts to our seasons have been terrible. I know the fixture, injuries and other factors all play a part but nonetheless this is a disturbing trend. Why? Are we unfit (after approx 8 rounds all teams are reasonably equal on this) but in the early rounds it plays a massive part. I was really hoping to start this year on the front foot but early signs are not good. Even the NAB Cup we are 1-5 during Terry’s tenure. Would be interested in others thoughts.
