The fact that the captain Kane Johnson isn't in our top 10 for time on the ground shows what a cripple he is... the poor bastard can barely walk.

Interesting that Tivendale spends so much time on the ground. Thought he would have been part of a 'rotation'.

happy with tivvas stats... especially marks and TACKLES... hope he can forget about the horrid 2005 and play to the potential we all know he has.

Can read Tivas and Kraks tackle count two ways , both second too the footy alot or
doing alot of the one percenters!

i couldn't give a stuff how many tackles tivendale has as long he doesn't turn the ball over and make stupid decisions when under pressure that hurt the team and allow them to hurt us on the rebound. so far this year he has been better

Interesting that at least half those players in the tackle count are maligned by our fans eh??
The marking stats show how the game has changed with flankers/onballers/wingmen taking more grabs than key forwards.

As I am actually in the business of footy stats, as a hard core techo of course, it's my opinion that stats are tools. They are *not* the end all and be all as they can be skewed to highlight some things and hide others. However, they can also be used to discover patterns, be they strengths or weaknesses both in individuals and a team. How stats are used by the clubs is vitally important come match day. It's one aspect of doing your homework. You just want to be as informed about the other club as they are of yours.
