Selections this week

I think Wallace said something like from 2000-2004 the Tigers had 7 debutants.

I know it's not as many games as people would hope, but they are doing what we hoped, just slower (ie playing the kids).

Under Wallace: Lids, Tambling, Meyer, Pattison, Thursfield, Humm, Tuck (?), Foley.

Who am I missing?

Tuck played a couple under Frawley General...would have been cut if Frawley had continued...damn good judge of talent that bloke. :hihi

It's revealing when you consider that among Frawley's debutants in that period was McGrath, Poyas, and probably a couple of other highly unlikely players who my brain has obviously preferred to forget... ;)...plus Roach and Raines of course.

I was a Fleming fan, but boy I am glad we kept Tuck over him in the end. :clap

I am glad krakouer has gone to the seconds.

I understand why Foley has been demoted, obviously we are trying for speed as many people have stated.

But Tambling? Why oh why?

I hope he bloody makes me eat my words here and has a blinder, but is this any way to give incentive to a young player to put in the hard yards?

Granted, I am not privy as to what the coaching panel expect from him and how he performs on the track, but surely you'd wanna be dominating in the VFL before you are selected to a team who is paying something ridiculous like $1.10 for a win at home.

I also would like to see Cleve play.

I don't think we'll win, but I think we will do better than what is expected from us. Although, didn't stop me from tipping us :o

So know what. Do we have any backmen???

On our injusry list we have

Thurstfield
*smile*
Moore
*smile*

Do we have any backmen playing Coburg Seniors that can get a game? I seen that Hughes was an emergencie last week, does he get a game this week?????

I think Richomd, along with the Bulldogs would vote for a mid season trade period during the split round.

I think you will find we will blooded quite a few by years end Clawasaurus. (I hope)

Deledio, Meyer, Pattison, Tambling, Foley, Thursfield were all blodded last year.

You could also count Raines, who had only played one game before 2005.
