SEN just announced Kane Johnson to miss 3-4 weeks

i certainlky hope tivendale doensn't come in...what's the use...may as well give games to younger blokes.....
it's been well documented that he's had good games with coburg..but again....it's a completely different cup of tea to afl...plus.....he played well for coburg as an outside receiver player and his disposal becomes telling and effective against the vfl sides who don't pressure much compared to afl sides.....he's not exactly setting the world on fire as an in and under player...so...no way he should repalce johnson....

Unless of course we want to gift positions to those who don't deserve them.

Why change now; we've been doing that for years. A multitude of duds have managed hundreds of AFL games at RFC without deserving them.

Will see the end of Wallace and the hacks he continues to play, and the arrival of Hardwick to add some REAL mongrel.
Harvey was very similar to Hardwick.Look what he,s brought to Freo ::)

The difference being that Harvey spent too much time under Sheedy and had the draft for now culture imbedded into him. Look at his recruitement at Freo and lack of opportunities given to youngsters. Sounds like one K.Sheedy.
Hardwick on the other hand has been with Clarkson and seen first hand what ridding the club of dead wood and allowing youngsters to develop can achieve. Also the ONLY reason he wasn't given the coaching job at the Bummers is the mere fact he told them some home truths that their list is no good and a clean out is required.
For mine Wallace has lost the plot and the only reason he dropped players like Bowden and Pettifer was the fact that we had a month of TOUGH games against quality opposition that he didn't expect us to win. Once we came up against teams he thought we could beat he immediately went for his senior players eg. against Bombers and Swans and they failed him miserable. Anyone that thinks Mcguane should have been dropped after the Geelong game must have rocks in his head. What did Morton not do in his few games that Pettifer can??

Hardwick was passed up by 2 clubs. What more proof do you want?
Id rather we go after Andy Collins. At least the kids responded to him at Coburg.

Collins who has never even been close to a senior job. Who else was Hardwick in line for? Melbourne?

Hardwick has also been in the Port Adelaide system. Some good training there.

Knights apparently had the playing group responding to him in Bendigo :hihi

Only joking of course, didn't hear the best wraps there or from Port (to be fair to Collins, who got a fair bit of praise).

Tiv has been clearly in our best at the Burg for several weeks now, and if form is what this side is supposed to be selected on, he is due.

knighter has done it with peverill, mal michael and j. johnson at essendon. these plrs wont be their for their next flag just as tiver wont be for ours, the guy wont bring anything extra to the table for us that he hasnt brought before and it is a step back to bring him in just because of some good form in the burgers. plenty of other plrs can be exposed to AFL footy which we'll take something from before we give tiver a recall.

it isnt about gifting positions, its about finding out who is cut out for the big time and who isnt.

Pev, Jason, and Mal have not exactly been setting the world on fire though in the games for Bendigo.

Last week he said on radio that he didn't want to miss the 100G at the G clash, so expect him to be back for next weeks game against Carlton.

Cheers Brett. I never thought I'd say this but we have actually missed his leadership since he went down. Axel and Newmo aren't quite the same.
Hope he's back for Carlscum to annoy Chris Dudd! :hihi
