They just crossed to the buckley retirement presser and mcguire stuck the video on with highlights etc

Shocking radio!

well if you watched it on fox news/sky news it actually came up pretty well

How was that 'gulp in the throat' announcement from Eddie.................... :hihi

They even added the Clocks song to make it sound really emotional :hihi

IF Eddy thinks Bucks is the greatest magpie player of all time, then he answered his own question as to why they don't have anyone in the team of the century!

Well done to a magnificent career, the bloke was a true champion. An arrogant prick of the highest scale who snubbed Brisbane to play for the scum, we all know the rest of the story.

Yeah left to win a premiership.

Just how many did the Lions win again after he left... ;D ;D ;D ;D

Bit like Bubbha Rocca. The pies were convinced he was going to be the next power forward of the decade.

Apart from Premierships themselves, there are few "just deserts" in footy and the way Buckley manipulated the Bears to go where he though a premiership would land, this was one of the purest - he didn't just miss a premiership, he missed a threepeat. Having said that - imagine Buckley in the Lions premiership midfield :nailbiting
