What could fall out?

According to papers during the week:

Troy Selwood
Jed Adcock
Michael Rischitelli
Daniel Merrett
Joel MacDonald

all out of contract, and probably wont be signed up until after trade week.

The Lions have just spent plenty re-signing Akermanis, Power and Brown during the season. How much have they got to play with to stay under the cap?

Why not make a play at one or two of them, forcing their prices up, and hopefully causing one of the others to be forced out?

Selwood, Adcock or MacDonald would all be handy in a back pocket or to play some midfield for the right price, Rischitelli has struggled to get game time in his two years, while Merrett is a monster who could be a late bloomer (i think he's a dud).
