They might want to actually start impacting now leading up to finals, because its likely that its gonna be one of these guys right now (or Aarts or Markov) that will make way for him.
If he's our 22nd best player in a GF win, so be it.
If he's a tad underdone, they'll tweak his role – 10% less game time, 10% more time up forward, whatever.

From memory Edwards was one of the underdone players who flopped in the 2013 EF. But we didn’t have Balme then.
