After 5 rounds Shedda's operating at a career high possession average.
At 32 his bell curve is still on the upward slope!

And unlike many, every Shedda possession counts.

I'd take 15 of Shedda's over 40 of Mitchell's

I seen the great Maurice Rioli play but i think Sheds has past him as our best indigenous player too pull on a Tiger jumper.
Maurice did some magical things but Edwards does that and more.

Gee, Maurice was one of my all time favourites. But I'd find it hard to disagree with you, Sheda's last 5 or so years have been top shelf.

I never saw Maurice play as I was late in finding Aussie Rules but have seen and read so much about him so to see such high comparative praise being given to Shane indicates how great a player Shane really is

Getting better with age is Shedda.
Maurice had the weaving,
Shedda has the handball
A point of difference is Shedda can play anywhere bar ruck.
Maurice was Mid/Fwd.
But both legends of the RFC.

Wish you and Dud_Delist had the chance to tell Maurice Snr that Sheds is better than him, Think he'd Mark Jackson you both :bash

what about the handball over the top to Bolton in the last quarter that set up Aarts' goal? ridiculous but standard for Edwards.

Mentioned in dispatches in the 'who is the second best player in the comp' discussion. Mostly around Bont, Fyfe, Danger, Petracca, but Sheds is on the list of 10!
