Meh. Cut out some of the dumb turnovers lately so not as noticeably bad but still doesn't do enough for a mid in his 5th year. Only 12 touches - not enough. 20 should be the minimum each week or else he's just holding us down and he needs to be replaced given how much time he spends in the midfield rotations.

I swore that I wouldn't abuse him today and would only say kind thing like "keep trying shane" "good effort shane" 'good boy shane' etc etc and it seemed to work. He doesn't always achieve what he sets out to do but he does try and he does read the play well. WELL DONE TITCH.

Still is Playing like its his 1st game, the set shot at goal in the 3rd was very ordinary and the kick for goal 20 meters out still found a way to hit the post.
Not the answer for the future and sadly Foley looks the same.
We might've won today, but there are players that won't make beyond next year

I'd give him a score of a pass for the day. Was he playing a defensive role because he seemed to applying a lot of pressure and laying tackles?

It's like, every time it seems like there's an opportunity for him to do something good, a pick up and give, a pass, anything really, he seems to stuff it up. And I thought his mediocre pace was exposed totally today. Went on quite a few chases and looked like Wile E. Coyote.

Does the sublime only to completely balls it up with poor finishing, I'd be shopping him around at this stage as I believe there is still some trade value.

ive been a fan of his but hes not doing himself any favours ,after working hard to get the ball, his disposal/decision making is poor.

I listened to the game on the radio, and every time he got it, the commentator's had a "oh no " he has turned it over, or, "oh no he has been caught, or
h no he has ran into trouble, or "oh no, he has put him under the pump.
The bloke is not up to it, no vision, no skill, no real pace, he has nothing to offer.

If one was to do a montage of Edward's best play he'd be up there with Dale Thomas for highlights, unfortunately if you packaged his lowlights he'd look like a reincarnation of JON. He's at a point now where you could safely say there's little chance he can iron out his deficiencies, I think if we're serious about this year's trade period then he'd have to be at the top of the list of trade-bait candidates.

Whether or not he is up to it is a matter of opinion but to say he has no vision or pace is wrong. He has some of the best vision and hands in the team.

He wasn't our best player but it was a good team game by edwards today .
I don't know who you were listening to because they must have been at a different game . he played as a defensive forward on kennelly and did a great job . Was constantly working in the traffic , some of his release work with his hands was great . Probably had 6-7 tackles . Saw a slightly different Eddy today. He took some serious angry pills, but wasn't unnecessary or undiciplined. Just hit bodies and contests hard and punched above his weight. Not a stellar game, but a different style.
