Someone told me a while ago that Morro was going to play in the SANFL. Does anybody here know if that's correct and if so which club.
Thanks. :)

The guy wasnt up to AFL standard but will be a good player in SANFL i believe.
Shane is a young fellow and i wish him the best continuing his footy in SA.
Good Luck Morro :clap

Dud at AFL level Clawsy but he 'll go alright in SA, wont win a Megary but he will do ok, christ Ross Funcke, and Ben Moore went ok over there and they were duds hahahahaha :hihi

PS another 2 great draft acquisitions Moore and Funcke with White and RYan Oh Dear hahahahahahaha :hihi

I think a lot of Morro's problem was he was too slow, he certainly had a moderate amount of talent. He'll do OK at the next level down, but the faster pace in the AFL was too much for him.

good luck sunshine.

I went to uni with Damien Ryan and Mark Bolton... at the time it was like hanging out with minor celebrities. looking back now it all seems rather embarrassing...

I only ever really watched Morrison play against St Kilda this year and he was one of the best on ground for us, he'll do well in S.A.

Very bad recruiting in Morrison & Weller.. handy footballers but not up to elite level, hopefully decisions like this are now a thing of the past & rest peacefully in a Ballarat potato paddock!
'Go Tiges ' :emblem :thumbsup

Yep...Weller, 2nd Rnd pick in the pre-season draft & Morrison pick #70 odd in the Nat. Draft.
Gee, two real BIG mistakes claw.

The biggest mistake was not so much recruiting them but having them on the list for so long.

hes a dud pity the sa club who picks him up.
Agree,I thought he'd be back in QLD.

Better money and quality of football would sway me to go to SA if in his shoes MightyBoy.....
QAFL is probably his standard.
You may be right - only time will tell though, but I'm suggesting at his age he's past that league's mid-point standard and deserves to have a crack at SANFL.
