Shane Tuck Award 2007

Phantom said:
It's basically the "hard-luck" award, or the "coach didn't give you a fair go" award.

yeah I'd vote for Danny Meyer.

I'm not sure he didn't get his chances; more like he didn't make enough of them.

However he could've been ok if he'd had the chance to string a few games togther so he's my pick.

Closely followed by Schulz and Oakleys (see above)

Meyer is a first class dud. He is lamentable, time to off load him. if we get a new set of witches' hats and some used chewy for him i'd be pleased.

Phantom, I don't think anyone is particularly hard done by and I'm certainly not convinced by the Hartigan voters, the guy was repeatedly injured so basically unavailable/recovering for much of they year. So like Wheels, I think if there is no worthy winner, we should maintain the prestige of the award and declare it a no result for 2007.

I'm absolutely certain that there were multiple rounds this season that Wallace would have completely upended his bag of tricks to find anything lurking down at the bottom if he thought it would have found him an AFL competitive player. The cupboard however was pretty bare.
