Only plays one way.
Lack of footy nous.
Can't stick a tackle.
Getting old.
Can't nail down a position.
Error prone.
Quiet for years.
Not respected by any opposition.
Has no trade value.
Lacks in basic skills.
Cracks under pressure.
Has failed to make a real statement.

We need to cut our losses.

It's time to delist pessimistic_

was nodding along the whole way too :spin

Out of all the players at the club. He is apparently Mr Sledge.
He Was giving it to Harvey last weekend. Pity it didn't work. Either keeping the smurf quite or himself having a good game.
Reading that article from the Smurf got me angry. "We could see in the 3rd qtr we have got them" (meaning us)
Grigg was calling him, Old, your keeping a kid out of the team etc. pity Grigg didn't put that much energy getting the ball.
Or when he shat himself and handballed to no one on our 50.
Time to go

What remains a mystery to me is Kitrino's attitude towards Grigg and Chaplin.

I really can't tell how he feels about these players. Certainly keeps his cards close to his chest.

If Grigg going was, in any way, responsible for getting Redden through the door... he will have made a great contribution to the future of the club as well.

“Shaun Grigg told me last week that I was selfish,” Harvey told the Herald Sun.

“And that I was taking up another young guy’s spot on the list.

Wow

You couldn't make it up.

Do you think Boomer would quote him word for word, or sanitise it a little for the newspapers?

Btw Grigg is one of the few Richmond players that has a twitter that starts with:

"Richmond footballer..." and has a picture of himself running past a cheering Tiger Army. Just a little thing but I like that in a player, rather than listing RFC as an afterthought.

It's not the words used but the notion

Grigg (rubbish), to bag Harvey (good player) , in regards to keeping kids out the team and being selfish is funny on many levels

What a spud

Yep, average sledge from Grigga. Grigga will need to lift his sledging game to win more respect from us expert PRE sledgers.

Maybe it was done at the request of the coaching staff?

Should get Warnie, or Larry Bird, in so we can get it right and hit them hard. Grigg's efforts were very 'wet lettuce leafesque'.

Interesting that Harvey chooses to air stuff like that in the media. So much for whats said on the field staying on the field.

Biggest whinging selfish sook in the game, crys every time he gets a hard tag, always dobbing in other players. Makes me laugh how people talk about Buckley been Figjam , has nothing on Boomer

Spot on poor form from Harvey, and yes harvey is a selfish player, he's been criticised as such for his whole career. Its not the sort of thing that he's going to react to though.

Harvey has been tagged out of games many times and it's always been by players like Crowley who don't verbalise him they polvarise him, they get really physical with him as we know he doesn't like to go wear the contact a cures

Yep, guys like Harvey and Lindsay Thomas actually play better to prove you wrong when you sledge them. You need to assassinate them silently, not come charging at them with a knife.

Brisbane Lions had a psychologist tell you whether to sledge players directly or to talk about them when they're within the vicinity etc... are we smart enough in this area? Hard to tell but we did it in Round 6 too with Vlastuin sucked in by Thomas... diabolical psychological strategy by the coaches.
