What I have noticed of him tonight is his handballing is very good with good decision making his kicking I thought was supposed to be his weak point which from what I actually took notice was not that bad. Still early but it looks right now that we got a decent player.

He played well tonight, very early days yet though, perhaps the time to assess his standing will be mid season.

But you would be the first saying he was a dud if he had played poorly in the first two games!

I am prepared to go now and say that we won this trade. Grigg was imposing tonight. Now that is something that Collins never was.

Early days I know. But he is a fair way ahead of Collins. Big body you gets the ball, so good in our young team.

Collins was dangerous and smart - but imposing, not even close. That was a man's effort tonight by Grigg. Imposing is the best word for it.

I think its fair to say that Grigg has more impact in his 2nd game for us than Beaker ever did.

So far so good

I always like Collins and I suggested at the end of last season that Collins could be a good trade option. And we did well to get a player we needed in Grigg. However, with Taylor walking out and Morton not showing his game has rounded out, Collins would have been coming into my Round 3 side as that 3rd/4th forward. Those who did not want Houli and preferred Grigg to go to PSD allowing us to keep Collins may have been right on the money.
