nervous start, played better as the game went on. It is hard to judge him on 1 qtr. Carlton had a heap of duds today and he wasnt one of them.
hampson- cant mark, shocking
carausso, sh!thouse
Russell, what a waste
Robertson, does the extraordinarily and then a 1 minute later does the ordinary
dugan, looks lost, looks fat
Gibb, soft, doesn't like body contact,
Thornton, thursfield's brother
Betts, Where were you????

how in the hell are they going to play in the 8??

How about Murphy, he did 3/5ths of FA. Happy to have Griggs, Collins just runs around like a headless Chook

Yeah, early nerves but not too bad after that. 9 touches, 7 marks and 0.1 in a quarter and a half.
Yeah but didn't show any more than he did for us and clearly won't ever put on enough weight.

Re: Collins for Grigg (Merged)

Not doubt the Blues will be asking Collins to play further up the ground and make significant contribution, assisting their midfield.
The early turnovers were not nerves, they were inherent flaws in his game.

Coming from someone who obviously suffers no nerves whatsoever then SilkySkills? - can't empathise what you don't feel ;D

Of course he had nerves, Collins is the quintessential nervy player. That's how he as with us for some time. It's half a step back to take a full step forward. If he survives his half step back, he'll be looking good this time next year.

LOL listening to Grandstand on ABC. A female Carlton supporter rang up to complain about the poor game from "that Richmond bloke".

Oh please Grigg; tear up the hawks tonight. Cameron Cloke or whoever our list manager is will be covered in glory

Re: Collins for Grigg (Merged)

he looked ok late in the game, but need to remember he was a fresh sub, everyone else was stuffed and running out of legs.

Re: Collins for Grigg (Merged)

what have Carlton done to Beaker? He looks a shell of his former self.

Did better than that Davis bloke who came on from sub.

Re: Collins for Grigg (Merged)

MMM Radio is absolutely giving it to Collins at the moment in the Carlton v Essendon game.

Apparently is making clanger after clanger and has cost Carlton a couple of goals.

Re: Collins for Grigg (Merged)

Just saw him miss his 2nd sitter for the game. He was a trier was Andy but he's just a battler. No loss.
