did anyone see the interview on ESPN by Sam Kekovich with Kevin Sheedy..I watched a lot of it but turned off to watch the soccer! Sam asked him about Richmond and how he felt about the tiges now..sheeds inferred he will be right back following Richmond..he said..i will be watching plenty of richmond games..and smiled...he is still a tiger even after all those years coaching the bombers...:):)

i think he will be back in the fold well and truly by next season.....

Good, how could u not love the tiges after playing your career there.

I hope he does alot of spruiking for the club from next year and beyond, he is the master at it.

Agree, but he won;t lose his love of the Bombers either - playing gives a special affinity, but so does coaching, maybe even more so - playing is a bit like being a kid with mates, but coaching is more like being a parent with kids.

I would've loved to see him back at Tigerland as coach 10 years ago, but it was not to be.

He needs to spend a couple of years with the grog sqaud to show he's worthy to be a supporter again ;D

It's part of that show pardon the interuption or something. I saw about 10minutes of it.

It looked to be a very good interview. Can't see the rest though, because I'm "upgrading" from Optus to Foxtel HD, and the optus box has gone, but Foxtel haven't installed. No pay tv for me :(

haha

Sheeds stated in an interview post being sacked that "not many people get to coach the team they barrack for, I consider myself lucky"

KS is very much not a Tiger ;)

Sheeds did say in the interview that he wanted to leave Richmond to coach because he was worried about players like Bartlett, Bourke etc becoming coaches ahead of him, and he didn't think he'd get the chance.

Forget football romance (it is about getting us back on track on the filed),

forget that he is too old (no such bloody thing),

forget that he left the bummers in a mess (like hell he did)....

For God's sake I hope things are going on behind the scenes to get Sheeds back because this club is still way off track.

No he does not need to be coach for too long, 2 - 3 years with Hardwick as his understudy to take over in 2010/11.

We have some decent youth, lets not waste them with the current coaching list, they have shown their worth.
