40,000 members hear we come

we should have been quieter and snuck up on them instead. Thats alot of members to disturb.

Thumbs up to sheeds: I hope he really gives it his full heart and attention. with him backing us people will start recognising the culture is out of its downward spiral and we are finnally, definately moving back up... KB back, Sheeds back... its like the fall of the berlin wall... a stage in history has ended and a new one is dawning..... first a few things go right, then more, and soon everything is going in the right direction

Welcome home Sheeds, viva la basketball crap (just kidding). Very happy to see him back in his natural footy environment and believe it is a coup for the club and supporters that the great ones are returning to the fold.

Disappointed that some are finding negatives in Sheeds coming back to Punt Rd but hopefully they will turn the corner and get into the positive moves the club is making - including this one.

Welcome home Sheeds, is great to have you back.

While you are at Essendon, imho, you are scum and I treat you with the contempt you deserve. Hi Matty. If you come back fully committed, all is forgiven.

Agree, if Terry is busy watching Sheeds he's missed the whole point of the coaching game. Terry, for all is shortcomings, is definately not stupid, and if you misjudge him on that, you aren't concentrating enough.

If anyone is a threat, it will become Cambo, but again, Terry is not oblivious to that one either, if anything he has encouraged it.
Definately a strange scenario Plough has riding his shoulder for 09.
He encouraged Cambo to get away from Tigerland and do some assistant coaching to get a feel for how far he wanted to take things.
Rocket is recognised as an excellent tactical coach so hopefully Cambo has picked up some quality insight to the caper.
Ploughs last contract year with a review coming midseason sees Cambo back at the club as an assistant and Sheeds as an ambassador.
Talk about the Marchfly taking out insurance for 09.
If things go seriously pearshaped Ploughs sackable midyear with Cambo as caretaker coach being mentored by the wily old plumber.
If things just stumble along for the year then Plough doesn't get renewed and Marchfly has had a season to get a good look at the workings of Cambo with a view to 2010.
If we have a great year Plough gets his extension, Cambo's an assistant learning the caper and Sheeds is an ambassador and everybodies happy.

Makes Mr March pretty savvy doesn't it? ;D
