Sheedy threads [Merged]

O.k this one should make it for the X files !
Kevin Sheedy now more than ever(missing out on the Melbourne Gig) shall return to Punt Rd next year.
Do i have inside info you may ask, the answer is no.
But i can tell you that 1 and 1 and 1 makes 3.

Just look at these little cryptic clues.

Kevin stated that the lanscape is changing.
Punt rd is undergoing a redevelopment of the social club over the off season.

Stated that if he doesn't coach he may do a bit of travelling to Europe and study up on the coaching structures of the soccer clubs.
Richmond, over the Christmas break intend on venturing into Ireland and assesing the potential of an exchange type program.
Sheeds has had a few ideas on the Ireland scenario for the last couple of years.

I'm sure there are a few more cryptic instances to be put forward but the have skipped my mind for now.
Interested on hearing other peoples conspiracy theories.

sheeds and that crazy man and his ideas coming to fore...

is there an announcement soon. :idea

I would question however how well a Wallace / Miller / Sheedy team would work together, lots of ego's there and a bit of history between a each of them as well.

If it could work however this would be great.

Of course it could work, why hell, Terry showed Kevin who was boss just last week. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Sheedy's sudden love of basketball....

Mate luv him to come back say on the board but not as coach, i do recall everytime his contract was up with essendon the tiges were somehow always in the mix to get him but im thinking it was more for sheeds to use the tiges to get more from the bombers in his contract talks.

I know little about Bailey.

I'm told Sheedy's presentation was fantastic, which only tells me that Bailey was mighty impressive. There was quite a good list of candidates (including 2 who had previous coaching experience.)

I'll say I'm happy with the decision. The right decision isn't always the post popular. If he failed people will be lambasting the fact we didn't take Sheedy - however I'd say there'd have to be a good reason the Melbourne selection panel decided to overlook him.

This reminds me of the Frawley appointment.

Just heard on Channel 7 news that Sheedy hopes to coach us from 2009, although, it came out of the journalist's mouth.

Pathetic.

Dylan Howard? Or has he lured a Paduan to the Dark Side?

No it wasn't Dillan Howard.

You sure, maybe someone sold him confidential RFC papers that they "found" in the gutter outside Millers house

Re: Sheedy misses out

i wouldnt imagine they would be at GM's house....no love lost between those 2.

Re: Sheedy misses out

Kevin Sheedy becomes the Grim Reaper of 2008, casting a shadow of anyone who loses 3 or more games in a row. Every week Sheedy will be linked with a new club and have reporters ringing him for quotes on a slow news day.

I can already see the most over blown, over reported topic of 2008.

They were papers found at the Windy Hill ghetto.

You've got to love Choco. Let's the cat out of the bag and says that he gave Baliey some ideas for his presentation.

It was a pretty low act IMHO, what right did he have to do it?

Sounds like Dean needed help with his presentation, what will happen when he's coaching?

Who was Neil Craig...............

& Despite the jealousy from PRE'ers Clarkson was also plucked from obscurity & has set the foundations for future Hawk success.

Especially when the Force prefers Connolly who has traded away most of Freo's early picks during his tenure & achieved nothing.

Bailey may or may not make a good/great coach, would think it's far far too early to tell us "he wont last long" on the basis you "knowing nothing" about him.

I know who Bailey is for god's sake (how do you find 'sarcastic' emoticon on here ;D)

It's only my opinion Leysy. Sorry if it bothers you.

Not at all Forceskin, not at all.

Connolly knows Melbourne and I reckon they could do with a hardnut coach by now.
connolly a hard nut coach now thats funny.
