Sheedy threads [Merged]

I find it interesting that he was informed in front of Hird & Dedoro i can understand Hird but the recruiting bloke who he bagged out recently the knives were clearly out. It's true press conference at 12 reporting it everywhere headline news on fox sports news channel.

Prpbably the most idiotic sacking since Richmond sacked Hafey and Melbourne sacked Norm Smith. Thet will pay with a long period of sustained failure as the other aforementioned clubs have.

The Reverend would be the front runner for sure. He always said he wanted to coach Essendon.
a monty for the job, in fact sheedy prob placed a condition nd would be next coach
And maybe there was some feeling behind the scenes Daniher just might be tempted to go elsewhere & they had to act they way they did.

Also with Havey who was reluctant to take the caretacker role at Freo could have already known this as well. With O'Donnell at the club the Bummers have 3 good choices for Sheedy's succession.

Bummers preferences; Danniher, Harvey, O'Donnell (and depending on availabilty they will go through that order)

Terry might get a tap on the shoulder! :hihi

I doubt this very much. FWIW the Tiger president Gary March needs to come out and squash unfounded, stupid rumours that are already circulating and say that Terry will remain coach.

With Hafey he wasn't sacked. The mistake the board made then was that they questioned his worth & Hafey was upset. They voted and in memory it was 9 to retain & 2 to sack. Hafey asked what did Greame Richmond vote & was told to sack him. So Hafey said I'm going as I don't have the support from GR, even though he had 9 out of 11 majority to keep him.

March:"Terry Wallace has the full support of the Richmond Board"

this will help? ;D

Bummers preference: M. Thompson
Surely your not suggesting another Northey saga. He has finally got the Cats humming & on the verge of possible success.

Wallace, Miller vs Sheedy. I don't think this mix will ever work. There is some bad blood between these blokes & ego will not fit into the same place.

I would love Sheedy to come back but not at the curernt moment. Wallace, Miller needs to finish what they set out to do. We should judge them when the cotnracts are due to expire (mid the 5th year)

The only thing I hope they don't do is as mentioned in another thread TW & Miller draft to plug but rather get the best kids available (top 3 picks)

Keep the ship sailing in the same direction give Terry five years or to the middle of his fiftho. But if we start off poor next year the blowtorch will be applied.

March has just made the statement, Evo.

There is no doubt we will start off poor.

Do people really expect us to improve significantly? We will be just as bad if not worse. So if that's the criteria for Wallace staying on then they might as well sack him now.
