If the reports are true.

Sheed's has knocked back a deal to be on the coach selection panel.

Does this mean he will apply for the senior role? Or will he apply at another club?

On the positive side

Could Sheed's still have a flag or two in him?

Could he be the missing link for the RFC?

When I think about what the man has done, we could do worse, at least you know what yopu are getting with a Sheedy or a Malthouse, A respected and proven winner. Unlike the Wallet

On the negative side

If he is unsuccessful, will he walk away from the club disgruntled?

Would he stay and create issues from within for the man who beat him?

This all adds up to some very interesting times ahead.

I hope teh club makes the right call and is not forced into making a rash decision.

Look, I'm not saying Sheeds is the man, but why has all this young coach stuff started?

Sir Alex Ferguson and Guus Hiddink aren't too young, yet their teams seem to go ok, don't they?

May well be Sheeds is not the man for the job, but shouldn't be disregarded on age alone.

No. He's outstanding but its a page that's turned. This will be the last year he turns down a coaching panel job.

Tiges have got Sheedies position just right.

Sheeds mentioning Coaching again is reminicent of Paul McCartney letting slip some vague litte aside that the Beatles could possibly get back together one day just before he released a new album. Always guaranteed to get a bite and useful device whenever you need to sell something else.

(got to love Macca though!)

sheeds sent the bombers back 2-3 years before he got the chop with is recruiting of recycled players....

no thanks...move on

Sheeds - no - early signs of senility appearing - then again you'd have to be a bit senilte to take on the Tigers coaching job.
