Sorry if this has been listed already but my search didnt find anything. I was just watching 9 news headlines and I see that Sheeds could put his hat into the ring to coach the Tigers next year? Did anyone see the full story?
 
So Kevin has thrown his hat in the ring? Good on him, if he thinks he has it why shouldn't he.

I saw the report too, I was thinking of the fella at the coffee stand. :hihi
 
It wasn't much, Sheeds just said that he's never ruled out coaching again and for that reason he wouldn't be part of the sub comittee to choose the new coach.
 
Sheedy was a great coach and a great innovator. Still one of the most creative thinkers in the game. His position marketing the club is a perfect match for that skill set in a 60's plus ex great coach.

Let him use those skills to bring us Buckley.

I haven't ruled myself out either - and I won't be on the sub committee.
 
I think we can say that Kevin had his his chance to coach Richmond when he was in his prime. He chose to stay at the Bombers. He would have been useful for us back then but not now. Mentor
 
I think that Sheeds is throwing his name around for the West Sydney gig when it comes up.

They will need someone like Sheeds and his PR work to try to get some followers

Yep, this will be bigger and a longer media blitz then anything that has happened over the past 12 months. Forget Cousins, forget Wallace, forget Port Melbourne meetings this will be massive and ongoing for the next 4 months.

Could it be a smoke screen and a misdirection by Sheedy and the club?

nothing to be excited about. Sheedy is only throwing in a pie hat.
