I reckon I saw a lot more shepherds yesterday.

Don't know if there's any stats on this but I know I lamented the lack of these in the Collingwood and North games.

I saw in the training thread someone posted that was one of the things Terry was emphasising.

Wallet has shown that he's working on the stuff we've all been whinging about.

And shepherding? Have I blathered on at length bout Shane Edwards yet? ;D

Yep agree, was a lot better! as was the tackling,

I hope it continues

Loved seeing Schulz sprinting to the wing to shepherd hAcker off King, the guy was flat out, to make sure King could keep running without pressure. :clap

I agree regarding tackling however not so sure about shepherding.

Saw quite a few yesterday where we had a 2 on 1 and we peeled off for the handball over the top and put ourselves under pressure. One in particular in the last quarter, in our forward 50, when Morton handballed to Brown and then ran on looking for another handball when he should have protected Brown. I suspect it may be the way we are drilled to continue the run.

It was a good shepherd, not great but the fact that it even stands out is a damnation.

Akermanis on SEN just saying how unbelievable our tackling, shepherding and general pressure was. It caught the Doggies off guard and caused them to turn the ball over more than they normally would.

Questioned the the Foley handball decision as well - didn't agree with it.

Wow... Don't think i've ever heard anyone say that about the Tigers.

Suprising what a bit of effort can do.

Nice, good to see opposition clubs have noticed sometype of transition.
