Rosy and moderators please do not merge this thread, if anyone at the club reads PRE they need to see this, for we the bread and butter of this club need to be listened to on this subject.
As a team that has come off a shocking season you would think all of our players (senior/mid/junior) would be head down bum up.
But no our so called Captain commits an offence that in light of last weeks happenings that is not only hard to believe but completely and utterly stupid.
So is this the way our captain sets his example on and off the field?
He has stood down for next weeks game and is being fined by the club.
I say that is nowhere near enough.
Show some direction Richmond, show your long suffering supporters you are on the right track and serious about resurrecting our pitiful past 3 decades.
Not having any priors is no excuse for leniancy.
We have been the butt of jokes for too long, this is the icing on the cake.
We do not need a leader or for that matter a person like him at our club.
Ever heard of not getting so legless that you don't even realise what you are doing?
Ever heard of sacrificing alcohol for a footy season so you can be at your best every week?
Ever heard of setting an example for your team?
You are a disgrace Kane Johnson, I don't believe the club has the balls to do what I and many others would want done, so the sooner you retire the sooner we can start rectifying the years since
you joined the club.
For all of you that think I am over reacting, just think of the message this sends to our younger brigade.
If you want to be an elite athlete/sportsman stay off the bloody grog!
