As has been reported Chris Judd has held off contract negotiation's with the Weagles until the end of the season.
In light of the controversy in the West this week, speculation is rife that he wants to return to Melbourne.
The article below suggests he would cost as many as three first round draft picks and a young up & coming player. It also suggests he could command a salary of $1.2 million dollars a season.

No doubt he's a superstar but those requirements seem at the extreme end of the spectrum.
However when you consider Brad Ottens cost Geelong two first rounders, it may not be that wide of the mark.
It's an absolute given that our midfield could do with a player of Judd's ability.
At 23 yrs old one would feel he still has plenty to offer and could well be the player to take our side to the next level we so desperately desire to be at.
Or should we just continue the process of trying to grow our own champions and keep the money/draft picks in the bank?
I am sure West Coast will do everything in their power to keep him but Judd may see it as the perfect chance to step back to his home state with a guilt free conscience.
Should he truly look to greener pastures, would the cost likely be too great?
Or should bite the bullet, make some sacrifices and just go for it?
Personally I would hope Miller explores every avenue and really makes a play for Judd's services.
I believe he is exactly the player we need in our rank ordinary midfield.
There might have to be some extremely tough decisions made on players in order to make that happen but seeing Judd bursting through the centre for Richmond would be incredible.
What do you think? Should we should try to recruit him? 8)
