PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

After all we won our first game, after finishing wooden spooners we were outplayed by 2 of last years top 4 teams. The saints layed down after being 38 in front and got beat by 37. Like us there forward line is not functioning well . the 3 talls up there for them is not working. Gehrig looks finished, Kosi is inconsistant and injury prone, Reiwoldts kicking can be as bad as Richo's.
Even if we get beat for the next 4-5 games, to steal Dean Baily's catchcrye, "lets just be competative". No major blowouts please mr wallace.
No more Tivvers,Hyde or Petts barring injury for the rest of the year.
I'd give Bowdo one last chance this week, give him first shot at Pavlich and if he doesn't play well, back to Coburg as well.
People can put up with a bit of pain as long as the kids are being played.
Hopefully over the next 6 weeks the kids will be permanately introduced into the team, firstly Jack and Cleve, then Connars and Edwards, then cogs and Cotchin, with Mcguane Cass and Rance to be given a game as the season progresses.
Some big decisions will be made at seasons end and the rfc will be better for it.
We may have some extra early picks at seasons end. maybe 2 and 5 and with alot of room in the salary cap, we may land a big fish in the psd(heres hoping anyway)
I reckon with Wallace we stick fat with him as long as he plays the kids. There is hope over the horizon!
